A new, cheaper PS5 model is coming exclusively to Japan on November 21

The rumors were right, as Sony has announced a “Japan-only” PlayStation 5 that’s coming out on November 21, 2025, exclusively for the Japanese market.

Sold for ¥55,000 (approximately €308), this PS5 Digital Edition will only be compatible with Japanese PlayStation accounts. This model will feature an 825 GB SSD and include a DualSense controller.
