A Minecraft player has walked over 14 years to reach the Far Lands

Here’s something quite wonderful that’s happened with Minecraft. Aftere walking for 14 and a half years in the game, a player has managed to reach the edge of the map.

Kurt J. Mac, who started playing on March 28, 2011, shared such a big occasion with his community during a live stream. He has succesfully reached the Far Lands, considered ot be the theoretical end of the Minecraft map.

On October 4, the streamer’s character was in his small boat when he found himself facing a huge wall on the horizon. It’s important to note that the Far Lands are actually a bug in the Minecraft code. The world appears distorted and begins to break apart when a player enters it.

It took Kurt J. Mac more than 852 episodes and 14 years to reach his destination.
