This week marks the release of the new game by Dotemu, the publisher behind Wonder Boy, Metal Slug Tactics, and NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound. Today October 9, 2025, Absolum releases on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.
This is a roguelite beat ’em up set in the original world of Talamh, which has been ravaged by a cataclysm, and several heroes are attempting to save it. The combat system requires skill, coordination, and strategy, with rapid combos and spells.
The game can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend, and you can combine powers and synchronize attacks to perform increasingly impressive combos.
