Nintendo has given new information about the Vi-O-La motorcycle, the brand-new vehicle that Samus will be able to use in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. According to the official Japanese website, Vi-O-La can only be summoned in specific areas. When dismounting the vehicle, players will return to the classic Samus perspective to continue exploring.
The motorcycle will offer several special actions: acceleration that repels enemies and destroys ore deposits, a powerful slide to sweep away opponents, and an energy shot capable of locking onto up to five targets before returning like a boomerang.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released on December 4, 2025, on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
