Developed by International Cat Studios and published by Future Friends Games, the popular PC game The Cabin Factory is finally heading to PS5 and PS4. The best part is that console players interested in checking out the horror game wonât have to wait too long to experience it.
When is The Cabin Factory PS4, PS5 release date?
Just in time for Halloween, The Cabin Factory is slated to launch for PS5 and PS4 on October 16. The trophy hunters out there will be happy to know that it will include trophies. It should be noted that the Supporterâs Pack DLC will not be available on console.
For anyone unfamiliar with The Cabin Factory, here is a brief description of the game:
âInspired by The Exit 8 and POOLS, The Cabin Factory is a walking spot-the-difference horror about sorting the artificially scary from the truly supernatural. Itâs a simple job: check out all of the cabin props, and make the call whether theyâre safe or not to be used on set.â
The Cabin Factory does currently have a listing on the PS Store, but it cannot be preordered just yet. However, it can be added to playersâ wishlist. Once it launches, PS4 and PS5 players wonât have to pay a whole lot to check out the popular game, as it will only cost $2.99. It may also be a perfect game to play on Halloween, as it only takes about 60 minutes to complete.
When The Cabin Factory launched in December last year for PC, it was met with mixed reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 68 across 4 critic reviews. Despite its mixed reception from critics, it seems players are enjoying the horror game. On Steam, its reviews are âVery Positiveâ with a little over 1,700 reviews submitted.
