Reviews have gone live for Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yōtei, and on cue, PlayStation has released the launch trailer, quickly summarizing Atsu’s quest for revenge. Check it out below.
After the slaughter of her family at the hands of the Yōtei Six, Atsu ventures across Ezo in its pre-Hokkaido days to hunt them down, one by one. She’ll need all the help she can get, whether it’s learning new weapons like the kusarigama and dual swords or procuring firearms and other tools such as smoke bombs and explosives.
However, perhaps most intriguing is the end of the trailer where Atsu teases finding something else to fight for. Whatever it may be, we’ll find out when Ghost of Yōtei launches on October 2nd for PS5. You can check out our review here – we gave it a nine out of ten, praising the narrative, characterization, combat and open world design (which is some of Sucker Punch’s best yet).
