Every millennial and Gen Xer who bought Pokémon cards in the ’90s has probably spent some time poring through their attics and basements in search of buried treasure. What if they still have that Charizard card lying around? Surely, that old collection’s got to be worth something. Most of the time, the search is useless — the cards are long gone — or the discovery disappoints. Every so often, though, you hear about someone hitting a Pokémon TCG mother lode. This is one of those times.
