Valve announces Steam Machine price, pre-orders and release date

Valve’s new Steam Machines will arrive this summer and start at $1,049, the company announced Monday. Valve, which released its new Steam Controller in May and has a new VR headset coming called Steam Frame, said it will open pre-orders for its new hardware on Thursday, June 25. Customers can now register for a chance to buy one at the Steam Machine’s page on Steam.
