What if XBOX had actually presented a game that doesn’t exist during its XBOX Games Showcase? Senua could be that title, at least if we are to believe information reported by Stephen Totilo of Game File.
According to anonymous sources, Microsoft had already decided to shut down Ninja Theory or sell it off before the announcement of its new title. The company believed that officially announcing a new game would be enough to attract potential investors to buy the developer.
However, the very nature of Senua remains unclear. Does the game actually exist, or was it simply a technical demo intended to make Ninja Theory more attractive? It’s still too early to say.
Announced for 2027 on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC, Senua seems to be off to a rocky start for now.
