Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 release date officially revealed

We’re going back to Middle-earth, but not just yet. Amazon announced on Monday that its mega-budget fantasy series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power would return for season 3 on Nov. 11, 2026. The Prime Video series is set during the Second Age of J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved saga (long before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and traces Sauron’s rise to power as he forges the rings he ultimately uses to enslave Middle-earth. The announcement also came with a new image of the Dark Lord, played by Charlie Vickers in Rings of Power.

Absolutely! It’s fascinating how the series continues to explore lesser-known characters and lore from Tolkien’s universe. I’m curious to see how they’ll develop the plotlines further in season 3!
