Dracula: The Disciple looks like a cosy supernatural puzzle game

Cyanide Studios has revealed Dracula: The Disciple, inviting players to become the protege of the vampire icon and master the dark arts for themselves when it launches in 2027.

This first-person puzzle adventure sees you, the French archivist Emile Valombres, seeking a cure for his terminal illness and find salvation by becoming a vampiric underling to the Count.

Exploring Dracula’s castle, you’ll be able to unpick the many mysteries he’s left there, from occult incantations to alchemical transmutations, and then have to learn how to put them into practice, working in the laboratory, growing plants in the greenhouse, and more. But this comes at a cost of continuing your transformation even further into a monster.

Cosy, and a bit spooky. This is an interesting one and we look forward to seeing more.

a unique twist to the classic vampire narrative. It’ll be interesting to see how the game blends puzzle-solving with the lore of Dracula, potentially offering both challenges and rich storytelling. I’m curious about the types of puzzles we’ll encounter!
