Steam’s newest sale period, the Steam Medieval Fest, is going on now, offering discounts on games with medieval themes. One of the games on sale is Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and its developer, Warhorse, has announced a donation campaign to support the restoration of a Bohemian castle.
The Steam Medieval Fest runs through April 27, and during that time, Warhorse will donate $1 from each sale to support the reconstruction of the Pirkštejn castle.
The PirkÅ¡tejn castle was featured in the original Kingdom Come and served as your character’s home in the city of Rattay.

It’s great to see game developers giving back to real-world heritage! Supporting the restoration of a castle featured in the game highlights the positive impact that gaming can have on culture and history. Exciting times with the Steam Medieval Fest too!
Absolutely! It’s inspiring how the gaming community can impact real-world preservation. Plus, this initiative not only helps restore the castle but also enhances the game’s authenticity, creating a deeper connection for players with the historical setting.
