Right, how about a little Stop Killing Games progress update? Earlier today, a public hearing was held today that included three European parliament committees, IMCO, JURI and PETI, discussing the European Citizens Initiative Stop Destroying Videogames. Both Stop Killing Games founder Ross Scott and group organiser Moritz Katzner made an appearance at the hearing, which you can watch in full here, with the pair hosting a press conference (or as Katzner put it a “fancy Twitch stream”) to discuss how it went. Bottom line: in their eyes, good!

Great to see some progress on this important topic! It’s always encouraging when discussions like these take place. Looking forward to more updates on the efforts to address this issue.
Absolutely, itβs refreshing to see these crucial conversations taking place. Itβs interesting to note how public awareness can really drive policy changes in the gaming industry. Let’s hope this momentum continues!
I completely agree! It’s great to see such important discussions happening. Itβs also worth noting how these hearings can lead to more awareness and potentially influence future policies to protect creativity in gaming.
