Xbox Drops 5 Limited-Time Free Games, Includes 2025 AAA Hit

If the weekend is within touching distance, that can only mean one thing.

Microsoft has launched the latest edition of Free Play Days.

As always, the event allows Xbox users to go hands-on with a selection of free games for a limited time.

Despite its namesake, you do need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to access most of the games included, but not one.

This time around, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is free for all Xbox users to try, no subscription needed.

Based on the popular anime, this is a 2v2 action game where players will need to master “Cursed Techniques”, selecting a partner and pulling off unique combos as they do so.

It’s also available to purchase for $19.79 instead of $59.99 if you want to keep playing after Free Play Days draws to a close.

5 Free Games To Sample, But Only For a Few Days

If you have a Game Pass subscription, you can also sample the following games.

Let’s kick off with the 2025 AAA hit I mentioned. If you’re yet to dive into Battlefield 6, now is your chance.

Last year, this popular FPS made a triumphant return, impressing both players and critics with its high-octane infantry combat.

Don’t want your access to run out on Sunday? Battlefield 6 is currently on offer for $45.49, down from $69.99.

For the action-strategy fans among you, Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainiods may be worth a play.

Here, you’ll “build a base and command your army of bots to defeat the freaky Brains-in-Jars aliens”.

“Lead from the front with your hero, Chip or Clawz, or both in co-op. Look out for ejected alien brains, you can squish ‘em!”

It’s also running an offer. Nab it for $20.99, down from $29.99.

PGA Tour 2K25 is next in line. There’s not very much to say about this one.

If you like golf, it’s worth giving it a whirl and if you don’t, well, you might struggle to get a kick out of the title.

Polterguys: Possession Party completes the line-up, offering up multiplayer fun for up to eight players.

Here, you’ll become a “cheeky ghost”, possessing everyday objects in order to get supernatural powers which you can use to sabotage your friends.

“Battle it out across spooky maps packed with traps, powerups, and perfectly timed betrayals.”

It’s available for only $4.49 instead of $14.99.

You have until the end of Sunday 22 February to sample these games and then your free access will be revoked, so get playing.
