At a time when multiplatform gaming is becoming increasingly common, Sony clearly has no intention of releasing its biggest franchises on Xbox. Instead, the Japanese manufacturer prefers to target the PC ecosystem several months after the launch of its games.
So when an internet user asked Insomniac Games if the studio’s Spider-Man games might one day land on Microsoft machines, the answer was clear, to say the least. Insomniac simply said that this scenario was “not likely”.
Of course, things can always change in the video game industry. So all may not be lost, but for now, the Marvel’s Spider-Man games will remain on PlayStation consoles.
