Ubisoft is rolling out free PS5 updates for three of its most popular PS4 games that are also available on PS Plus. As previously teased, Far Cry 3, its spin-off Blood Dragon, and Far Cry Primal can now all be played in 60 frames per second on the PS5 and PS5 Pro.

Ubisoft isn’t always in fans’ good books, but if there’s one thing the company earns unanimous praise for, it’s these free PS5 updates for its back catalog. Ubisoft has been pretty consistent when it comes to supporting its older titles, whether it’s via free content updates or just PS5 patches.
“Return to the Stone Age, a time of omnipresent danger and limitless adventure, where giant woolly mammoths and saber-toothed tigers rule the Earth,” Ubisoft says of Far Cry Primal’s update. “Return to an 80s vision of the future taking place on a bizarre open world island crawling with evil with Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Classic Edition’s free 60 FPS patch,” the studio added for the spin-off.
Last but not least, Ubisoft wants fans to “return to an open world island of danger and discovery” with Far Cry 3’s PS5 patch.
