A known PS Store glitch has struck again, making Crystal Dynamics’ Shadow of the Tomb Raider completely free for players. The glitch was first noticed by players based in Hong Kong, but has since been confirmed by folks with PSN accounts in other regions, too.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently free in several regions’ PS Store
To claim a free copy, players need to have a PSN account in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, or Australia. Then, go to Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s PS Store page and select its demo. Once the demo is added to your library, go back to Tomb Raider’s PS Store page, and you should be able to add the full game to your library.
Players on Reddit have confirmed that the glitch still works at the time of this writing. However, do note that Sony has in the past revoked licenses for games that were accidentally made free. That said, the last two games I claimed for free, thanks to PS Store glitches, are still in my library and still playable, so you never know.
We’re not sure if this glitch works beyond the regions listed above, but you can try your luck if you like.
