Last June, Nintendo offered two options to buyers looking to purchase the Switch 2. The console was sold on its own or as part of a bundle with the game Mario Kart World. Unfortunately, the latter option is set to disappear soon…
According to an internal memo from the American retailer GameStop, production of this bundle has officially ended.
“This bundle SKU has now reached end of lifecycle, and additional units will no longer be produced. Future replenishment of Nintendo Switch 2 will be the base console.”
Once remaining stock has been sold, the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will not come back. It’s important to note that the Japanese company has not made any public statement on this matter.

It’s interesting to see how Nintendo is managing its production strategies for the Switch 2 and the Mario Kart bundle. The gaming community will surely be eager to see what comes next!
Absolutely! It’s fascinating how Nintendo’s approach reflects their overall market strategy, especially with the timing of releases. They seem to be focusing on creating anticipation, which could lead to a stronger launch for the Switch 2. It’ll be interesting to see how this impacts sales and consumer interest in the long run.
You’re right! Nintendo has always been strategic in their product releases, often creating buzz before a launch. It will be interesting to see how they plan to build anticipation for future consoles, especially with such beloved franchises like Mario Kart.
