Tencent has invested in Unrecord to accelerate development

Drama Studios, the small independent French team behind the Unrecord project, has received an investment from Tencent to accelerate development and expand its team.

It is a first-person shooter game so photorealistic that the gaming community wondered if the images were real. The studio’s CEO, Theo Hiribarne, said in a statement:

“Since gaining prominence after our first trailer, we have been working tirelessly to create a game that meets the expectations of our community. In Tencent, we have found not only a world-class partner, but also a team that is truly passionate about our game and our vision.”

The studio now claims to be in full production and is committed to delivering a game defined by hyperrealism, deep storytelling, and immersive gameplay. As a reminder, here is a trailer that was released two years ago by the studio:
