Nioh 3 Requires Windows 11 and 125 GB Installation Space on PC

Following the latest range of previews for Team Ninja’s upcoming action RPG, the Steam page for Nioh 3 has been updated to reflect its minimum and recommended system requirements. Much like Resident Evil Requiem (and Monster Hunter Wilds recently), you’ll need Windows 11 to run the game, regardless of everything else.

The minimum requirements otherwise include an Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT Rev. 2.0 (6GB). This will be enough to deliver 1080p/30 FPS on the “Lightest” preset.

The recommended requirements include a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X, 16 GB RAM and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB) or Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB). It allows for 1080p/60 FPS on the “Standard” preset. It’s worth noting that these parameters are with upscaling enabled.

While an SSD is recommended at the minimum, Team Ninja outright recommends an NVMe SSD for recommended and above. You’ll need a multi-channel memory configuration and 125 GB installation space across the board as well. But hey, at least there’s Frame Generation support.

Nioh 3 launches on February 6th, 2026, for PS5 and PC.
