Wizards of the Coast and Capcom have come together to bring many of Monster Hunter’s massive monsters to Magic: The Gathering in a new Secret Lair superdrop. The drop will begin December 1 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, and will run until December 21 while supplies last. Images of each card in the superdrop are in the gallery below.
Each drop includes multiple reprints from Magic’s history, but with new unique art showcasing the monsters and hunters of Capcom’s fan-favorite franchise. 20 cards total will be available in the superdrop, including a special variant of Sol Ring for those who purchase one of the drop’s bundles.
Individual drops will be priced at $30 for non-foil and $40 for foil, and the drop will also include multiple bundles. One such bundle, the Amped State Surge Foil, will feature all four drops in a special surge foil treatment for $240. The surge foil variants are only available in the Amped State bundle.
Each drop will be available in both English and Japanese, and each will be available separately and as part of a bundle with other drops. Cards within the drops will be available in three variants: non-foil, foil, and the previously-mentioned special surge foil edition.
