Saving some money on video games is great, even if itโs just a few dollars. A new Cash App offer does just that, allowing users of the app to save a bit by giving free PS Store credit when making purchases on Sonyโs digital storefront.
How do you receive free PS Store Credit with Cash App?
Right now, Cash App is offering its users $5 off on the PS Store. Using it is relatively simple, but itโs not immediately obvious. First, users have to claim the offer in Cash App. Once the offer is added to the account, the user can then make a purchase on the PS Store with a Cash App card. Once that purchase hits the account, it will be discounted by $5.
There are a couple of caveats to the free PS Store credit, but none that would deter Cash App users from using it. The first is that this is a one-time only offer, so once the offer is used, users will no longer be able to take advantage of the deal. Also, it must be used on an item that costs $9.99 or above. So, anyone looking to buy anything below that price range from the ongoing PS Store deals will be out of luck. Lastly, as mentioned above, the purchaser must pay with Cash App, and it is only available for online purchases.
It does not seem like there are any other restrictions to the Cash App offer, so it could be used on anything found on the PS Store, as long as it costs $9.99 and above. So, this should include games, DLC, subscriptions, or other items found on the digital storefront.
