Dotemu has confirmed that the action beat em up Marvel Cosmic Invasion will be launching on December 1st, and two new characters have been confirmed. Those two new characters are the Invincible Iron Man and Jean Grey as well as her alter ego Phoenix. You can check out both charactes in action in the new release date trailer below.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion will feature a roster of 15 Marvel characters including Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla-Vell, Venom, Nova, She-Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill, Black Panther, and Cosmic Ghost Rider. While playing you can select two of the characters and take advantage of the tag system to switch between them in the levels, which will also throw up some unique combo moves too. The level locations span from New York City to the Negative Zone as the heroes take on the Annihilation Wave. Players can go through the game solo or play in co-op with others using the drop in/drop out multiplayer mode.
