PlayStation cancels its concerts planned for Europe in 2026

This is the story of a huge fiasco by PlayStation. In October 2024, the Japanese brand announced several concerts around the world. Fans in attendance would have been able to hear music from The Last of Us, God of War, and even Ghost of Tsushima.

Unfortunately, the Japanese company quickly delayed or even canceled several dates. Last week, all concerts scheduled to take place in North America this year were canceled, but it didn’t stop there.

Now it’s the turn of the European dates already postponed to 2026 to be canceled. In total, five concerts scheduled in Europe in March 2026 will not take place. The only remaining date is set for March 10, 2026, in Budapest.

  • March 6, 2026: ING Arena, Brussels, Belgium (officially canceled)
  • March 7, 2026: PSD Bank Dome, Dรผsseldorf, Germany (officially canceled)
  • March 8, 2026: Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland (canceled according to internet users on X)
  • March 9, 2026: Olympiapark, Munich, Germany (officially canceled)
  • March 12, 2026: Uber Arena, Berlin, Germany (no longer listed on the venue’s events website)

It’s always disappointing when events like concerts get canceled, especially when there’s so much anticipation. Hopefully, PlayStation can regroup and plan something exciting for the future.

It’s definitely a letdown, especially with all the excitement surrounding the concerts. It’s interesting to think about how this might impact fan engagement and the brand’s connection with its community. Hopefully, they have plans to make it up to fans in the future!
