An interview between 4Gamer and Takeshi Yamanaka, the producer of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, reveals quite a number of details about the upcoming superhero title.
The most important piece of information is likely the inclusion of a single-player campaign, like many other games from Arc System Works, which is expected to last about 10 hours. It will take the form of an animated comic book in a game mode called “Episode Mode”.
We also learn that the game will feature battles between two teams of four superheroes, although this decision came as something of a surprise to executives at Marvel and SIE. It’s a rather bold move, but one in which the studio seems confident.
