In just three weeks, James Bond will grace us with his presence on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with 007 First Light. This will be the first title featuring the famous secret agent since 007 Legends in 2012.
In an interview with The Game Business, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak expressed confidence in the quality of the final product. Amazon has also been impressed by the game.
« As for Amazon, I dare say: they can see that this is an excellent game. Having invested in and acquired this intellectual property, they obviously want to ensure that everything that comes out of it is of high quality. As soon as they played it, they became fans of the game. And we are very grateful to them. »
Later in the interview, Abrak was asked about the development of a potential sequel. Even if IO Interactive wants one, the greenlight for such a project will depend on the success of the first game.
« We’re lucky enough to be able to choose our projects. If the game is a huge success and the public loves it, then why not?! »
