ATMTA has initiated the alpha testing of its newly developed blockchain, Z.ink, beginning October 30. This new platform, crafted exclusively for the Star Atlas ecosystem, aims to tackle prevalent scalability and cost issues plaguing web3 platforms. Designed as an SVM Layer 1 blockchain, Z.ink is meant for high-demand gaming environments, promising streamlined, cost-effective on-chain operations.
Alpha Testing and Future Airdrop Plans
Entry to the alpha test season of Z.ink is exclusively through access codes, which participants can secure by reposting specific announcements on social media platforms. During this phase, testers can develop their zProfile, which involves a nominal fee paid in $SOL, the native cryptocurrency from which Z.ink has evolved. Notably, this profile allows users to carry forward up to 20 levels of their progress into the airdrop phase, providing them an advantage.
Robust Platform Capabilities
Z.ink stands out by ensuring compatibility with existing Solana applications while addressing the challenges of transaction fees and delays witnessed in the Solana network. It offers a more than 99% reduction in transaction costs, using $ZINK as its native currency to facilitate lower charges. At its inception, Z.ink is estimated to support around 20 transactions per second, surpassing many current blockchain networks.
Innovations in Digital Identity and User Interaction
A central feature of the new blockchain is its zProfile system. This digital identity framework logs user activities and converts them to zXP points. The system enhances user engagement by allowing gamers to develop a reputation on the platform and receive additional benefits based on their interaction. Structured Airdrop Phases and Wide-Ranging Tokenomics
The Z.ink airdrop will unfold in three stages. Following this alpha test, the Origin Airdrop Season will take place in late December 2025, which will distribute a significant 10% of the $ZINK total supply based on user activities in the Star Atlas universe.
