Xbox will not be doing a Wrap-Up this year due to a limited marketing budget

As the end of the year approaches, almost all major manufacturers usually organise a Wrap-Up. By logging ourr accounts, we can view the titles we have played over the last 12 months, ourr preferences, and much more. What’s more, we can then share their results on social media.

In 2025, Nintendo, PlayStation and Steam offered their own retrospectives… But one major player in the industry was missing. Xbox will not be doing a Wrap-Up’ in 2025. The information comes from Jez Corden of the Windows Central website.

In an article, he explains that Microsoft’s gaming division is unable to produce this personalised recap due to a lack of marketing budget.

“Much of the marketing budget that would normally have been allocated to a service like Xbox Wrapped is now being devoted to efforts to celebrate the milestones in the life of Xbox, its licences and some of its games.”

Xbox has indeed posted a video focusing on the franchises and other titles that have marked its existence.
