During its appearance at GDC 2026, Microsoft made several announcements. In addition to discussing some details of its upcoming console, the American company confirmed a new feature that will be arriving soon.
Devices running Windows 11 will receive an Xbox mode in April, though the exact date has yet to be revealed. Among the devices concerned are desktop and laptop computers, as well as mobile devices such as the ROG Ally Xbox.
Thanks to this mode, players will enjoy the full-screen Xbox experience with features optimized for gaming and taken straight from home consoles.
