With dozens of Talents spread across the multiple Talent trees in Where Winds Meet, you will have a lot of grinding to do in order to accumulate all of the Enlightenment Points necessary for unlocking them. This is compounded by the fact that Talent trees are mostly linear in their progression, without much opportunity to forgo any Talents that may not interest you.
This is a guide to farm Enlightenment Points as quickly and efficiently as possible, in order to put them towards Talents in Where Winds Meet.
Exploration
Exploration side quests serve the purpose of opening up the map by incentivizing you to go to certain places with a variety of rewards, including 100 Enlightenment Points per quest.
Both of the current regions have multiple Exploration quests for you to undertake, and these should be accomplished as early as possible in order to unlock further content.
Worldly Affairs
Worldly Affair side quests are a counterpart to Exploration quests, focusing instead on standalone NPC interactions. These can range from combat interventions to rescue missions to more dialogue-driven interactions.
Among their bevy of rewards are the potential for 100 Enlightenment Points per quest.
Timed Encounters
These quests can be stumbled upon while exploring and require you to complete the mission within the specified time frame. However, you can still attempt the trial again should you fail.
Only three of these can be tracked at any point, and these pay out 100 Enlightenment Points each, among several other rewards for completion.
Side Stories
While also optional quests just like all of the ones above, these Side Story quests serve to expand upon the lore of the game to a much greater degree. There are a lot of rewards to be earned from the completion of these missions, including 100 Enlightenment Points per quest.
Treasure Chests
There are scores of these Treasure Chests scattered across both Qinghe and Kaifeng, and each can gain you 20 Enlightenment Points. You will stumble across many of them over the course of both the Story and the various Campaign quests, which are not the same thing. Those quests themselves do not reward you with any Enlightenment Points.
Those are all the best ways to quickly earn the Enlightenment Points needed for Talents in Where Winds Meet.
