PlayStation State of Play November 2025 livestream

Sony surprised everyone yesterday with the announcement of a new PlayStation State of Play for November 2025, and the livestream is upon us. There were no leaks leading up to this one, for a change, and no one saw it coming. But here we are with a brand-new Japan/Asia-focused showcase to end the year!

PlayStation State of Play November 2025 livestream link and what to expect

The livestream embedded below will kick off at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST. Sony has confirmed that the event, which will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, will be more than 40 minutes long and it’ll be “packed with great games” from Japan and Asia.

Do note that the event will be in Japanese with English subtitles.

As for what to expect, it’s pretty clear that the main audience for today’s State of Play is Japanese and Asian gamers, but many of the “anticipated titles” and “beloved series” that Sony is teasing will be of interest to gamers around the world.

We’re expecting to see Phantom Blade Zero, and maybe even the rumored Horizon multiplayer game (you know, the one that wasn’t canceled). I’ve also seen some rumors in the wild that Sony is gearing up to reveal a region-locked PS5 digital edition for Japan, where the console has struggled due to its high price.

If you can’t catch the livestream, don’t worry. We’ll have a roundup for our readers tomorrow!
