Paramount has not given up on Netflix’s bid to acquire Warner Bros. A hostile takeover bid has been declared for a total of $108 billion.
However, according to information obtained by Bloomberg journalist Lucas Shaw, Warner Bros. is expected to announce next week that it will honor Netflix’s offer.
Of course, Paramount could then decide to continue the fight by offering even more money or by making a public takeover bid to persuade shareholders.
