2025 has been a battlefield for plenty of shooters! Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has had a very difficult launch, while Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders managed to win over the heart of fans.

In a recent report, VideoGamer revealed that Embark Studios’ extraction shooter has retained 91% of its Steam player base. The title reached 439,118 concurrent users on December 29. The record set since its launch stands at 481,966 people connected at the same time.

This retention rate is significantly higher than that of Battlefield 6. Electronic Arts’ shooter, which has a record of 747,440 concurrent players on Steam, has lost 84% of its users on the platform so far. The game attracted only 125,230 concurrent users on December 29.
