Another day, another great game added to the PS5‘s growing library. Throughout 2026, some of the best games that players can experience have been added to Sony’s latest video game console. From survival horror sequels to space RPGs, there seems to be something for everyone. That includes Tamashika, a unique shooter available on the PlayStation Store right now.
What is Tamashika?
Developed by quicktequila and published by EDGLRD, Tamashika is a “fast-paced arcade-style” shooter. Although there are hundreds of first-person arcade shooters, this one attempts to separate itself from the rest with its unique, crunchy 3D art style.
Here is a trailer and description of Tamashika, giving players an idea of what to expect from the arcade-style shooter:
“Tamashika is a fast-paced arcade-style corridor shooter focused on flow, precision, and survival. Move through shifting environments, react quickly, and stay locked in. Each run is about control, timing, and keeping your mind in one place. Patterns in the world create a sense of continuity, but everything is in motion. Focus is what keeps you alive.”
Tamashika is available for PS5 right now on the PS Store for $19.99. There is just one version of the game available.
There aren’t a ton of reviews out right now for Tamashika, but the ones that are there seem pretty positive. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, there are a couple of reviews posted, which average within the 80s.
