Fans demand The Order 1886 sequel

The PlayStation Store finally has a new promotion. The New Year Deals sale brings great prices to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games the digital storefront has to offer. That includes this PlayStation exclusive that was originally released in 2015.

The Order: 1886 is $9.99 on the PS Store

Originally developed by Ready at Dawn and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, The Order: 1886 is currently $9.99 on the PS Store. That is a 50% discount off its usual $19.99 price tag. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on February 5 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

Here is a trailer and description of the game, giving players an idea of what to expect from the third person shooter:

“The Order: 1886 introduces players to a unique vision of Victorian-Era London where Man uses advanced technology to battle a powerful and ancient foe. As Galahad, a member of an elite order of Knights, join a centuries-old war against a powerful threat that will determine the course of history forever in this intense third-person action-adventure shooter, available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 system.”

When The Order: 1886 was originally released in 2015, it was met with mixed reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 65 across 94 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it an 8 out of 10.

“The Order: 1886 flaunts its interactive cinematic presentation, and it plays that card well,” reads our review. “Despite this, it will continue to incite debate about overall length, being story heavy, and not allowing much freedom for the player. If these are things that bother you, then The Order was not developed for you. The decision will need to be where each player places value in their video games.”
