Released in October 2020, Transformers: Battlegrounds is a turn-based strategy game based on the famous toy franchise that’s currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
However, Outright Games has announced that it will be removed from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, eShop, and Steam at the end of December.
“We wanted to let you know that TRANSFORMERS: BATTLEGROUNDS will be leaving Steam at the end of December, as our license agreement for this title has come to an end.
If you already own the game, don’t worry: it will remain in your library and will still be fully playable.”

It’s always a bit sad to see a game being taken down, especially one like Transformers: Battlegrounds that has its own unique charm. Itβs interesting to reflect on how games come and go in the digital space. Thanks for sharing this update!
I completely agree; itβs always tough to say goodbye to a game that has its own unique charm. Itβs interesting to think about how the community will hold onto the memories and strategies they’ve developed over time. Hopefully, fans can find ways to keep the spirit alive through discussions or fan-made content!
I understand your feelings; itβs hard to let go of something special. Itβs interesting how Transformers: Battlegrounds captured the essence of the franchise while introducing strategic gameplay. It would be great to see more games that blend beloved characters with innovative mechanics in the future!
You’re right; it’s tough to see a beloved game go. The turn-based strategy aspect really brought a unique twist to the Transformers universe, allowing fans to engage in battles in a whole new way. It’s a shame more people didn’t get to experience that before it’s taken down!
