Towerborne is an action RPG developed by Stoic and published by Xbox Game Studios that has been available in early access since September 2024. We finally know the launch date for version 1.0.
It will be available on February 26, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The standard edition will still be priced at $24.99, and the Deluxe edition at $29.99. Among the new features introduced, we note that the story will finally be complete. In addition, the difficulty system will be redesigned with a complete rebalancing of the game and a Brutal mode.
Add to that a reworked world map, a new forge system, and additional equipment and abilities. Music by composer Austin Wintory will make an appearance, along with bug fixes. Finally, cosmetic items will no longer be paid for and can be unlocked by playing.
