Research company Newzoo has released its yearly sales report for 2025, and included in the data is a rundown of the top 10 biggest PC and consoles games, ranked by global revenue through the end of November.
The report pulls from Newzoo’s Game Performance Monitor and tracks digital revenue from six markets: the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The report covers revenue between January and November 2025.
The top PC game by revenue in 2025 was Battlefield 6 and on console it was EA Sports FC 26. Common trends for both lists includes the popularity of shooter games and sports titles.
“Taken together, the PC and console rankings illustrate a clear split in where value is being created. PC rewards variety, depth, and new IP, while console revenue remains anchored in scale, franchises, and habitual play,” Newzoo said.
The research company also tracked the top 10 PC and console games ranked by average monthly active users (MAU). Counter-Strike 2 ranked No. 1 on PC, with Fortnite coming out on top for console.
