The wait for a new update on The Elder Scrolls VI is likely to be a very long one. IGN interviewed Creative Director Todd Howard right after the announcement of new details about Starfield.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to make do with almost nothing. Howard is currently refusing to provide any concrete details about this sixth installment. During the interview, he simply reiterated that The Elder Scrolls VI will use a new version of the Creation Engine. The team has clearly managed to seamlessly integrate Creation Engine 3 into the game’s development cycle.
One encouraging detail was shared, however. Todd Howard highlighted the fact that the various versions of The Elder Scrolls VI are running almost every day. The team can add elements to it and play it on a regular basis. Simply put, production seems to be progressing at a satisfactory pace.
