This week’s releases: from March 23 to 29, 2026

This week is all about ports. The Switch 2 is getting several native versions, including Disney Dreamlight Valley, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Warframe. And that’s not all: March 26 is packed with new releases.

Without further ado, here are the biggest release of the week.

Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy

  • March 25, 2026 on PC

Let’s begin with a stay at a magic school in this exploration RPG, where Fia embarks on a long journey to enroll in the academy. She’ll be able to roam freely, learn spells, and venture into dungeons to face various threats.

Disney Dreamlight Valley

  • March 25, 2026 on Switch 2

The Disney life sim set in the world of Disney is getting a native Switch 2 version this week. Note that the upgrade is free for owners of a Switch copy. Resolution will be increased, framerate improved, and loading times reduced. The object limit has also been raised to 6,000.

Warframe

Still with the Switch 2 ports, we find the excellent action RPG shooter and free-to-play title from Digital Extremes. In addition to including all content released to date, this version will benefit from technical optimizations to run at 1080p and 60 frames per second with DLSS.

Tales of the Shire

Let’s stay on the remaster side for Switch 2 with this life simulation set in the world of The Lord of the Rings. Higher resolution and improved smoothness will of course be included.

Absolum

  • March 25, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S

After a big splash upon its initial release last October, Dotemu’s roguelite beat ’em up arrives on Microsoft consoles. Playable in co-op, the game lets us take on the role of a group of heroes in a fantasy world. Many battles await us.

ICARUS: Console Edition

  • March 26, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

The PvE survival game, playable in co-op with up to eight players, finally arrives on consoles more than four years after its PC launch. We’ll be able to explore a wild environment filled with monsters and toxic materials to gather before returning to orbit.

Etrange Overlord

  • March 26, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Switch and PC

This Japanese action RPG portrays a musical odyssey in which Étrange attempts to conquer hell. A multiplayer mode for two to four players is also included.

Nova Roma

  • March 26, 2026 on early access for PC

We’ll need to restore the glory of Rome in this simulation and strategy game, where we must rebuild the great Italian city. It will be necessary to appease the gods, enact laws, and set up complex supply chains.

Damon and Baby

  • March 26, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Switch and PC

This innovative action-adventure game blends shooter elements and exploration in the moving epic of a demon king and a child. Strategic combat is also on the menu, with various types of weapons and gadgets. We’ll also be able to customize our avatar and play cooperatively.

NUTMEG !

This nostalgic football management game with a deck-building twist takes place in the 80s and 90s. We’ll need to collect numerous cards and follow very specific rules to win each match.

TAITO Milestones 4

Ten games from the 1980s across various genres are included in this compilation. Sports, platforming, martial arts, shoot ’em ups, and many more titles are featured in this collection focused on nostalgia.

Life is Strange: Reunion

Among the biggest releases of the week is the new entry in the Life is Strange series. Max and Chloe are back in a brand-new adventure. A fire threatens Caledon University, and Max’s powers may allow her—with a little help—to prevent the disaster. Many heartbreaking choices await us.

The Midnight Walk

The creators of Lost in Random are bringing their latest horror adventure to Nintendo’s console. Players will need to befriend a lantern to light their way through a world that is as wonderful as it is terrifying. Watch out for monsters trying to block your path.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Widely praised by players and critics upon its release in September 2021, this narrative-driven action-adventure title is coming to a new platform. We follow Kena, a young spirit guide, on her quest to find the mountain shrine.

EverSiege: Untold Ages

Here’s a healty dose of action and real-time strategy, playable solo or in co-op with up to three players. We must defend Bastion, regain our powers, and rebuild a fallen kingdom. Finding the right strategy to break an endless siege will be key.

Way of the Hunter 2

The virtual hunting season resumes in the heart of the Canadian wilderness. Developers promise many future expansions and rich content thanks to more than 10 commercial partners (weapon, equipment, and scope manufacturers) collaborating on the game.

Screamer

  • March 26, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC

Let’s continue with an arcade racing game focused on high-octane action behind the wheel of powerful vehicles. It also features a successful anime-inspired style and a story designed to leave quite an impact.

Devil Jam

  • March 26, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch

Released in November 2025 on PC, this isometric survival roguelite is coming to new platforms. The player takes on the role of a rock star capable of wielding up to 12 weapons simultaneously to wipe out bloodthirsty monsters. The goal is to upgrade our arsenal and survive as long as possible.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage

The 3D fighting game arrives on Switch 2 with cross-play, a new solo mode, replay improvements, and training features.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park

One of the best platformers on Switch gets its Switch 2 edition this week. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will feature new mini-games, challenges, items, and boss fights for the occasion. Rosalina becomes playable, and a co-op mode with a Luma is included. Additionally, resolution will reach up to 4K, and GameShare as well as mouse controls will be supported.

Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection

  • March 27, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC

The Mega Man series returns with a compilation ahead of a brand-new entry expected in 2027. This collection includes seven games, with the ability to play online and access an art and music gallery.

Marvel MaXimum Collection

  • March 27, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC

This other collection is dedicated to the pixelated evolution of the Marvel universe from the 1990s. 8-bit, 16-bit, and handheld titles are included, along with online play, access to archives, and even a cheat menu. A music player, display options, rewind, and save states have been added.

Virtual Cottage 2

It’s time to relax a bit with this game designed to boost productivity. Tools such as a standard timer, a Pomodoro timer, a stopwatch, and a to-do list are included. Players can customize their cottage, enjoy a wide range of sounds, and meet other users online.

Eastern Era

We wrap up with a base-building game featuring an open-world colony sim mechanics. As the leader, we must guide our disciples while overseeing hunting, farming, and equipment forging.
