This week’s releases: from January 26 to February 1, 2026

The gaming year is now well underway, and we have a big week ahead of us. Many highly anticipated titles such as Code Vein 2, Cairn, and even Highguard (in its own way) are realising in the coming days.

Here’s what’s in store for us on consoles and PC.

Highguard

  • January 26, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

One of the most anticipated releases of the week (and also one of the most feared) makes its debut this Monday. This new free-to-play PvP shooter is the brainchild of the creators of Apex Legends. We’ll be able to ride, fight, and lead raids as mercenaries.

Speedball

  • January 27, 2026 on version 1.0 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

In early access since October 2024, this sports title plunges us into the dark future of 2138, where Speedball is a discipline used by megacorporations to distract the masses. The matches are fast-paced, explosive, and above all unpredictable.

Echoes of Elysium

Make way for a highly promising survival RPG, as we explore procedural skies aboard our imposing ship. Up to six players can team up to face the many dangers of this world.

Earth Must Die

This interactive point-and-click adventure immerses us in an epic story with puzzles and charismatic characters. Expect an entertaining experience with a healthy dose of humor.

Task Force Admiral – Vol.1: American Carrier Battles

Let’s continue with this tactical title that focuses on naval combat. We join the US Navy in a turbulent period that will require us to win crucial battles for the future of America.

Core Keeper

  • January 28, 2026 on Switch 2

Released a year and a half ago, this survival and exploration game set in an infinite cave makes its debut on Switch 2 with a native version. Eight players can team up to dig, build, and fight together.

Drop Duchy: Complete Edition

  • January 28, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S

You’ll have to build a duchy from scratch in this hybrid roguelite that requires you to gather resources and recruit troops to take on other armies. It features deckbuilding elements and puzzles, making for a highly original game.

HELLMART

  • January 28, 2026 on PC

This supermarket simulator stands out because it also has horror elements. In the Far North, a 24-hour convenience store is affected by strange phenomena once night falls. You’ll have to serve customers, but also watch out for threats.

Don’t Stop, Girlypop!

  • January 29, 2026 on PC

This is a totally crazy FPS in which you have to spread love wherever you go. It’s essential to keep moving during dynamic battles with absolutely insane weapons. Watch out for your eyes, because everything is pink and colorful!

Calyx

  • January 29, 2026 on early access for PC

This real-time strategy and management game puts us in command of a space mining outpost that must fight off plant-like aliens. We’ll have to build a base, gather resources, and assemble our forces to face these threats.

Cairn

  • January 29, 2026 on PS5 and PC

The Game Bakers is finally releasing its climbing and survival game, which requires us to carefully prepare each expedition. We can climb anywhere, plan our route, and manage our pitons before embarking on our adventure. The slightest mistake could be fatal!

I Hate This Place

Let’s turn to an isometric survival horror game set in an unpredictable world. We play as Elena, a young woman who will traverse several haunted locations. We’ll need to craft our equipment during the day so we can defend ourselves in the darkness of night.

The Midnight Walkers

This hardcore first-person shooter pits us against deadly zombies, but also other very dangerous players. Once again, there will be a very advanced crafting dimension to the game. It will also be essential to manage our hideout and trade items.

Chrono Ark Deluxe Edition

Already available on PC, this single-player roguelike that combines deckbuilding with team-based RPG mechanics is coming to Nintendo’s console. We’ll have to form our group of investigators and restore an entire world.

Dispatch

  • January 29, 2026 on Switch and Switch 2

AdHoc Studio’s excellent narrative title is coming to Switch and Switch 2. This comedy set in the workplace of superheroes focuses on our choices and their consequences. It’s up to us to send the heroes on missions, manage personal relationships, and juggle office politics.

Code Vein 2

  • January 30, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (playable on January 27 in advance)

The big release of the week is a Souls-style action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world where we must survive ruthless battles. This adventure will take us back in time to change the fate of great historical figures from the past. The combat promises to be intense and rewarding, alongside companions who are as endearing as they are loyal.

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising

  • January 30, 2026 on early access for PC

Blood drinkers take center stage in this new game. As a vampire lord, we must build our castle, hunt, fight, and gather resources to lead our loyal servants. Powers such as the ability to transform into a bat are at our disposal. All this can be enjoyed in solo or four-player co-op mode.

Front Mission 3: Remake

  • January 30, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

This classic tactical RPG is making a comeback on modern platforms. After a Switch version of questionable quality, MegaPixel Studio’s game is coming to other platforms. Two captivating stories, improved graphics, a reorchestrated soundtrack, and numerous customization options for our mecha are all part of the package.

Half Sword

  • January 30, 2026 on early access for PC

Let’s finish with a physics-based medieval combat simulator in which players use real 15th-century weapons and armor. Expect plenty of blood and violence during these deadly duels!
