It’s time to take a look at Calyx, which has been in early access for PC since January 29. There’s a demo available for download on Steam.
The title mixes RTS and base-building elements in which you must face enemies called calyxes. After more than a century of cryogenic sleep, our character awakens on the surface of a barren-looking planet where they must extract minerals. To do so, they will need to build an electrical network, as well as defenses, and deploy our artillery to repel the monsters.
The goal is to achieve perfect energy balance in order to survive this hostile environment. The campaign takes place across 16 different maps, with five difficulty levels, a technology tree, and the ability to upgrade our units and buildings and unlock technologies. As for the βskirmishβ mode, it features seven maps and has starting options to customize our game.
Calyx is priced at less than β¬25.
