Longtime members of the community will know that countless beloved fantasy anime series, many of which remain popular today, were released during the 2000s. From InuYasha and Mononoke to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Soul Eater, the decade was stacked with memorable releases, many of which aired on Western television and served to bring more people into the anime fandom as a whole. However, for every highly applauded release to hit the small screen, there was an underwhelming, forgettable, and sometimes largely maligned series waiting in the wings.
