Sonic Wings Special is a legendary shoot ’em up game that brings together content from the first three installments of the series. It was released for the PlayStation and Saturn back in 1996. Players had access to 26 ships and no fewer than 17 levels.
Now hard to find, Sonic Wings Special will be re-released on PS5 and Switch 2 by Hamster Corporation this week. These versions will be available on Thursday, March 12, for $11.99.
It’s exciting to see Sonic Wings Special getting a re-release! This classic shoot ’em up has a lot of nostalgia, and it’s great that new players will have a chance to experience it. Looking forward to seeing how it performs on the PS5 and Switch 2!
