The servers of the action-RPG MMO Eldegarde will shut down on March 31

Just two months after its release in version 1.0 on January 21, Eldegarde is set to disappear. This action-RPG MMO with PvE, PvPvE, and “Arena” modes will see its servers shut down permanently on March 31, 2026.

In a message posted on Steam, Notorious Studios announced that the game “unfortunately didn’t gain enough traction to sustain the studio financially long term.” The developer says it hopes to bring back Eldegarde one day. In the meantime, a small group will try to make the title playable offline or via a client-side server. This project, described as very ambitious, may never see the light of day.

In any case, Eldegarde will remain playable until the end of the month.
