Since its rescue, things have been moving quickly for Hytale. Hypixel Studios has already revealed a long gameplay sequence and plans to support the game for several years.
This adventure will begin with the launch of early access, which should happen shortly. Simon Collins-Laflamme confirmed on X that the early access release date will be announced before the end of next week. A lot of information about Hytale is expected to be revealed in the coming days.
We have also learned some interesting details about modding. Modding will be “based on the server host or game host”. Players will be able to join any modded server without having to download mods themselves.
Mods will be customizable on single-player servers. Furthermore, while creators will be given a great deal of freedom, there will be limitations at the start of early access due to the current stage of development. Some features are still rudimentary or difficult to use. It will be a long process before Hytale can integrate every conceivable mod.
