The recenty cyberattack on Nintendo didn’t result in any data leaks

Last week, a report indicated that Nintendo had been the victim of a cyberattack carried out by the Crimson Collective group. The group claimed to have production resources, backups, and game previews in its possession.

In a statement, the Japanese company finally denied certain allegations. It said that no personal, development, or business information had been stolen. While external servers used to host parts of Nintendo’s website were indeed compromised, there is “no evidence of damage to customers or intrusion into the company”.

So, there should be no risk of data leaks in the near future.
