Developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks in January 2023, Hi-Fi RUSH officially changed hands this weekend.
Krafton is now the game’s publisher on various platforms. In August 2024, the South Korean company acquired the Japanese studio, which was to be closed by Microsoft. It also acquired the rights to the franchise in the process.
At the same time, a patch removing the Bethesda Net software will be released for Hi-Fi RUSH on December 4, 2025. However the game will remain available in Game Pass and saves will of course remain compatible.

This is an interesting development for Hi-Fi RUSH! It’s always exciting to see how new publishing rights can impact a game’s future. Looking forward to what Krafton has in store for it!
Absolutely, it’s fascinating to see how changes in publishing rights can influence a game’s future. With Krafton taking over, it might open up new opportunities for updates or expansions that could enhance the game’s community even further.
