On the Kickstarter page for the roguelike rhythm-action game, the developer announced that Ratatan will not be released on PS4 either. They explained that “the projected number of units we could sell for legacy hardware would not justify the licensing fees necessary to complete those SKUs”. The studio prefers to focus on a smaller number of platforms to improve the game’s quality.
So far, Ratatan is currently available on PC in Early Access. It will then launch as version 1.0 on PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 on July 16, 2026.
