Now, The Verge reports a surge in the price of Xbox development kits. They are rising from $1,500 to $2,000 per unit, an increase of 33%. The American manufacturer has confirmed the information through one of its spokespersons.
“This adjustment reflects macroeconomic changes. We remain committed to providing high-quality tools and support for your development efforts.”
It remains to be seen whether this change will also have consequences for gamers.
